Desired Qualifications:
- Current California license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within K-12 educational environments
- Adept in speech and language assessments, intervention planning, and caseload management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to engage with staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of IEP development processes and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
Key Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services to students, adapting strategies to fit individual goals
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student success
- Offer guidance, resources, and training to educators and caregivers to support students’ development across school environments
