Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Active or eligible SLP-CCC certification, or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience delivering speech-language services in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Confidence working independently with diverse student populations, including preschoolers and teenagers
- Commitment to documentation, progress monitoring, and meeting compliance standards
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Providing direct intervention to students in high school and preschool settings
- Engaging families and educators in collaborative strategies, consultation, and support
- Maintaining accurate records, IEP documentation, and participation in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Using technology proficiently, especially for teletherapy and virtual services
- Supporting transition planning and social communication skills for older students
