Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a full-time contract assignment working with elementary students in grades K-5. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, supporting their communication and language development during their critical early learning years.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide both individual and group therapy sessions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services to students in grades K-5, using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Monitor progress, update goals, and maintain accurate records for a caseload of around 45 students
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and offer recommendations for classroom strategies
- Serve as a key resource for staff and families regarding speech-language development
