School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Middleburg, Florida

Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting school communities as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC). This contract position, based near Middleburg, FL, runs from August through May and focuses on serving students across PreK through 12th grade. With an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students—mostly mild to moderate needs—you’ll travel between multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity, helping to broaden your impact and expertise.
This on-site role is ideal for SLPs with experience or a strong interest in school-based settings, ready to collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to unlock each student’s communication potential.
Successful candidates will have:
- A current, active Florida Department of Health SLP license (CCC required)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting PreK-12 students with mild/moderate needs
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule between multiple school locations
- Familiarity with conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing (AHCA Clearinghouse + JLA badge clearance)
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating closely with school staff and families
- Offer consultative support to educators and participate in eligibility or IEP team meetings
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
