Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience or interest in K-12 school settings strongly valued
- Must successfully complete required district credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to a diverse student population across one or more assigned schools (specific caseload and age group will be determined)
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills, creating individualized plans that foster measurable progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy into the school routine and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs and support their educational journeys
This role provides full-time, steady hours (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday following the school calendar, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day). All offers and placements are contingent upon the school board contract renewal, finalized in early June 2026. Internal prescreening will ensure candidates meet the district’s high standards.
