Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state (LA) SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or willingness to be supervised as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Previous experience in schools preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite therapy services to approximately 50-60 elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Track student progress and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations
- Participate in staff meetings and student support planning
