As an SLP on a travel assignment, you’ll develop expertise working with a varied student caseload and gain insight into novel methodologies in an ever-changing educational landscape. Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Louisiana or eligibility for reciprocity
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience supporting K-5 populations in a school setting
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 50–60 students
- Complete accurate assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain compliance with both school and state policies
