Speech Language Pathologist in Trussville, AL

Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid AL SLP License
- SLP-CCC preferred and prior school-based experience highly desirable
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and IEP processes

- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions in small groups and one-on-one formats within the school setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, parents, and counselors, to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and advocacy for students’ communication needs
