Speech Language Pathologist in Birmingham, AL

- Current and active AL Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with K-12 school populations preferred

- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services onsite during school hours
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Engage with teachers, families, and staff to support and monitor students’ progress and outcomes
- Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices
