Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Louisiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLPAs
- Previous school-based experience is valued, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Commitment to onsite attendance throughout the assignment
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Full-time contract, approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Immediate start, continuing through November 30th (after Thanksgiving break)
- Serve elementary students, with a caseload of 50-60
- Deliver therapy, interventions, and evaluations as needed in a school setting
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and staff, and maintain timely documentation
- Bring creativity and flexibility to help students succeed in their communication goals
