Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and progress documentation
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 elementary school students
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Louisiana
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions for speech and language disorders
- Manage and maintain compliance documentation, progress reports, and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development
- Deliver onsite therapy sessions and monitor students’ progress
- Participate in team meetings, student planning, and school activities
