Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in Louisiana
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status with the intent to pursue CCC
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Passion for supporting K-3 students in their language, communication, and social development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ages 5–9
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Design and implement therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor and record progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Provide guidance to classroom staff for language and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and student records according to state and district requirements
