Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This assignment will cover a maternity leave, running from September 14th through November 30th, and is based onsite at a vibrant elementary campus near Kenner, LA. As a valued team member, you will support students’ communication needs and collaborate within an energetic, student-focused environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure and certification (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered
- Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a caseload independently
- Dedication to helping young learners reach their full potential
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and conduct assessments for a caseload of approximately 50–60 elementary school students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
