Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active New Mexico (NM) Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with working with students from elementary through high school
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Comfortable using technology for documentation and teletherapy, as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services
- Maintain detailed progress records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Provide guidance and resources for staff regarding speech and language concerns
