What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active NM SLP license required
- Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
- Comfortable supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address a variety of student needs
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective strategies
- Complete evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to support student progress in both academic and social settings
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current on best practices in the field
