Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
- Must hold an active New Mexico (NM) SLP license
- Preferably experienced working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Ability to effectively adapt services for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated capability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines efficiently
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual services as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress
- Deliver both group and individual therapy sessions tailored to age and need
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to team planning for student support
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents for carryover of strategies in the classroom and home
