Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license valid in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ unique needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom strategies and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in accordance with school policies and federal/state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff workshops, professional development, and parent conferences
