Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active Connecticut Department of Health License
- Connecticut Teacher Certification 061
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, including self-contained classrooms
- Demonstrated organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and therapy for students in grades Pre-K through high school
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Offer support, consultation, and training to staff and families to facilitate student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress effectively
- Adapt services for students with varying needs, including those in self-contained settings
