Qualifications & Certifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Connecticut Department of Health License in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Connecticut Teacher Certification 061
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in Pre-K through high school
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Deliver therapy sessions in both group and individual settings
- Consult with classroom staff to support student language, articulation, fluency, and social communication development
- Maintain detailed records of services, progress, and compliance with district and state regulations
