Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license and CCC-SLP (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Proven success working with students with complex needs, including ASD and significant disabilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document therapy sessions, track progress, and provide input for IEP meetings
- Adapt interventions to ensure meaningful progress for students with significant and diverse challenges
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding communication strategies and assistive technology
