School Speech Language Pathologist - Meriden, CT

This role covers a Speech-Language Pathologist maternity leave for the 2026-2027 academic year, with an assignment running from August 12th to November 1st in the North Haven area.

What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license for the state of Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with complex needs or ASD populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal development, and progress monitoring
Role responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies
