Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in West Virginia
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Proficiency in conducting therapy via telepractice platforms is highly valued
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and virtual therapy sessions according to student requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress
