Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Inwood, WV

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for school-based practice
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Proficiency in providing both in-person and teletherapy services
- Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet each student’s unique needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Provide evidence-based therapy services, utilizing both onsite and telepractice methods
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support students’ overall academic and social-emotional development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
