Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience delivering school-based speech-language therapy, including pediatric populations
- Proficiency conducting teletherapy sessions and using relevant technology
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs through standardized and informal evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services both on-site and remotely, as needed
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s goals
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current on best practices and continue professional development in school-based and teletherapy service delivery
