Desired skills and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC credentials
- Minimum of one year’s experience working with pediatric or school-age populations
- Familiarity with IEPs and experience in a school environment
- Proficiency and confidence delivering teletherapy services
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with parents, teachers, and special education staff
- Ability to organize and manage documentation efficiently in accordance with school protocols
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions in-person and virtually
- Document progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Consult with educational teams to support student progress within the classroom
- Provide guidance and resources for teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards
