What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credentials
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Florida)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong leadership capabilities to supervise 3 Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
- Comfortable working with PreK-12th grade students and a mixed caseload
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 150 students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Supervise, mentor, and support three SLAs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
- Attend staffing meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide staff in-services as needed
