You’ll provide speech-language pathology services for a diverse PreK-12 caseload of 150 students, drawn from both elementary and high school grades. Your leadership skills will shine as you supervise three Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs), helping to guide and mentor their daily work. With a mixed caseload, each day offers variety and the chance to utilize your clinical expertise in creative ways.
Your background includes:
- A valid Speech-Language Pathology state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with a range of grades (PreK-12)
- Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience supervising or mentoring support personnel or students is a plus
- Ability to manage a large, varied caseload efficiently
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Key job responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Supervise and support three SLP Assistants in their daily work
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate goals with education teams
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
