Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience providing services in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Skills in evaluating and treating a diverse student population
- Comfortable consulting with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized intervention plans
- Organization and dependability for maintaining caseload paperwork and related documentation
- Collaborative mindset with a positive and compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with a range of needs
- Track and document student progress aligned with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and insights
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups
- Support teachers and staff with classroom-based strategies and accommodations
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
