The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours per week in a welcoming, collaborative school environment in the Fort Worth area. You will likely work at a single campus, guiding students and teaming up with educators to address a variety of speech and language needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Experience in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Prior work with K-12 students highly valued
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students efficiently
- Dedication to providing high-quality, student-focused care
- Completion or verification of fingerprints through TEA (Texas Education Agency); processing may take up to 10 business days
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop therapy plans and implement individualized interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student support plans
- Provide education and support to staff and families as needed
