Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas SLP licensure required
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish fluency highly valued
- Ability to pass TEA fingerprinting and credentialing (may take up to 10 business days)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a K–12 caseload of approximately 60-65 students at an assigned school site
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to state and district standards
- Full-time schedule supporting up to 37.5 hours weekly, from August to May
