As part of a dedicated team, you'll either supervise SLPAs while case-managing two campuses (Elementary and High School), or deliver direct therapy and case management at a single campus. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Background in school-based Speech-Language Pathology (serving K-12)
- Strong communication and organizational abilities for case management and supervision
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting and credentialing through TEA (can take up to 10 business days)
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are highly valued, though not required
- Experience in supporting SLPAs (for the supervisory role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students, tailored to their unique needs
- Case manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned campuses
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
- Maintain detailed progress notes and ensure compliance with school district procedures
- Participate in collaborative meetings with teachers, families, and support staff
