Certified Pre-School School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Los Angeles, California

In this contract position, you'll play a crucial role supporting children’s communication development through direct therapy, collaborative assessments, and partnership with a dedicated team. You’ll work within preschool settings, provide support to the Preschool Assessment Team, and collaborate with the Mild-Moderate 1-2 SDC program.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid certification and active state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Experience in early childhood or preschool-centered SLP services preferred
- Strong background conducting assessments and creating developmentally appropriate treatment plans
- Comfortable serving on multi-disciplinary assessment teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt resources for varying student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention to preschool students
- Participate as a key member of the Preschool Assessment Team, evaluating students and preparing assessment reports
- Support students in the Mild-Moderate 1-2 SDC setting with targeted speech services
- Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families to develop IEP goals and promote holistic student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state standards
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive, proactive environment
