Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience with preschool-aged children in educational settings
- Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable contributing to multidisciplinary assessment teams
- Familiarity with supporting students in Mild Moderate SDC classrooms
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative, flexible approach and commitment to student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech and language needs within preschool and mild-moderate special day class populations
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs
- Participate actively in the Preschool Assessment Team, sharing insights and collaborating on interventions
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and adjust therapy techniques, as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to district protocols
- Support inclusive practices and promote language development in diverse learners
