Speech Language Pathologist in Anaheim, CA
Step into a meaningful role supporting students and colleagues as a part-time onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based environment near Anaheim, CA. This contract position is tailored for a licensed SLP who values collaboration, mentorship, and guiding SLPAs to ensure successful service delivery. The schedule allows you to make a difference while enjoying flexibility, with a commitment of just 7 hours per week—6 hours focused on participating in IEP meetings and 1 hour dedicated to mentoring or coaching SLPAs. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred or equivalent
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and mentorship abilities
- Comfort with IEP processes and collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork
Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively engage in IEP meetings to support student success
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and coaching to SLPAs
- Maintain compliance through thorough documentation and support with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with school staff and district multidisciplinary teams
- Foster quality and consistency in speech-language services through ongoing mentorship
