Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting students in the LA area as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 11, 2026, and running through June 4, 2027. Work onsite within a dynamic school environment, engaging with diverse learners across one to four campuses (typically averaging two). This is an excellent opportunity to help students thrive while collaborating with a dedicated team of education professionals.
Your expertise will serve school-aged children, with caseloads ranging from 55 to 60 students. There is no need for case management duties; each campus provides its own assigned case manager, allowing you to dedicate your full attention to providing exceptional speech and language therapy services.
What you’ll need:
- Active California SLP license
- Valid CTC credential or Certificate of Clearance (preliminary or clear)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC or CF (no SLPA’s); clinical fellows will be considered if supervision is arranged
- Experience or strong interest in the school setting
- Ability to work full-time, onsite only (8-hour days, 7:30am-4:00pm)
- Solid organizational and communication skills for itinerant assignments
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Traveling between assigned campuses as part of your role (travel limited to school sites within the LA area)
- Utilizing supplied assessment materials (reimbursements provided for materials up to $2,500)
