Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience providing SLP services within school settings strongly preferred
- Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educators
- Familiarity supporting students with a variety of disabilities and adapting interventions accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students onsite, five days per week
- Assess students referred for communication concerns, developing individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer guidance on communication strategies to staff and families
- Consult with teachers regarding strategies to support classroom participation
