Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience providing SLP services within school settings strongly preferred
  • Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educators
  • Familiarity supporting students with a variety of disabilities and adapting interventions accordingly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students onsite, five days per week
  • Assess students referred for communication concerns, developing individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based interventions aligned with IEP goals
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer guidance on communication strategies to staff and families
  • Consult with teachers regarding strategies to support classroom participation
