Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Llano, California

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and language development in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and specialized staff to deliver high-quality speech-language services, helping young learners achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain
- Experience in school settings and pediatrics preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, and therapy for varied speech and language disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, diagnosis, and individualized therapy to students with speech-language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
- Offer guidance for parents and teachers on strategies that enhance students’ success
