Ideal candidates are skilled in delivering evaluation, intervention, and collaboration in a pediatric or school setting. Whether holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise makes a difference.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or pending CA SLP license
- Eligibility for or holding ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) desired; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong ability to complete assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students aged preschool through high school, as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapy programs based on student need
- Deliver direct therapy services—both individual and small group—supporting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatics
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Engage and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Attend meetings and participate in the multidisciplinary team process
