Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current, valid SLP license for practice in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students referred for speech and language support
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support each student’s learning and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor and report on student progress, making data-informed recommendations for continued services
