Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Antioch, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech/language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support integrated educational programming
- Conduct screenings and participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress monitoring
- Serve as a resource for educators and families, providing guidance and support
