An exciting opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) passionate about supporting student growth in a welcoming K-12 educational setting. For the 2025–2026 school year, you’ll provide impactful services to primarily elementary students, along with a small group of high schoolers, at a vibrant school in the greater Liverpool, NY area. The assignment covers September to June.
This contract role centers on managing a caseload of around 28 students, utilizing your assessment skills and therapeutic expertise to promote communication and language development. Collaboration is at the heart of this role—you’ll work alongside dedicated educators and families to ensure every student’s needs are met.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop individualized plans
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to address each student’s unique needs
- Partner closely with teachers and staff in adapting classroom strategies and accommodations
- Track and report progress, making changes to interventions as needed
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Support and inform parents and caregivers throughout the process
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations
