In this position, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, delivering both assessment and direct therapy services. The role emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and compassion as you design individualized therapy plans, collaborate with educators and families, and ensure every child’s success in the classroom. Scheduled hours and vacations follow the academic calendar, ensuring a consistent and balanced work schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in IEP processes, special education, and relevant regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement customized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers on accommodations and classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input
- Support parents and caregivers as part of the broader educational team
- Document progress and adapt interventions to ensure student growth
