School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Liberty, Missouri

Make a meaningful impact in a supportive elementary school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite role offers a well-structured caseload and the opportunity to provide services to a vibrant group of students, working alongside a collaborative team of professionals. With dedicated support from both an SLP-A and an experienced in-house SLP, you’ll be set up to deliver excellent, student-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly elementary level, is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Team-oriented approach and mentoring skills for working with SLP-As
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload that includes 21 students for case management and provides direct therapy to a total of 76 students, including those managed
- Collaborate with an SLP-A present 2-3 days per week for service delivery and support
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school procedures and best practices
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in professional development and ongoing collaboration with colleagues
This position runs from late August through the end of May, offering the chance to guide students through meaningful progress over the academic year.
