Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Current or eligible state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and case management skills
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students, addressing a wide variety of needs
- Manage a caseload of 21 students requiring case management and up to 76 students as the primary service provider (a certified SLP-A will offer additional support)
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Partner with the in-house SLP to supervise and support the SLP-A as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized student plans
