Step into a dynamic and supportive school environment serving elementary-aged students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and help shape young lives while working onsite in a well-resourced setting near Lees Summit, MO. As an integral member, you'll case manage and provide direct services, with the added support of an SLP-A on site two to three days each week and another SLP available for supervisory needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Missouri Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school settings, focusing on elementary caseloads, preferred
- Comfort with supervising and collaborating with SLP-As
- Excellent case management, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-driven, student-centered environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload including 21 students as case manager and provide services to a total of 76 students (with SLP-A support)
- Deliver direct therapy and complete required documentation for students on your caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide input and guidance for the onsite SLP-A and participate in supervision processes
- Maintain compliance with state and district requirements, and uphold best practices in service delivery
