Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptable and committed to supporting students from varied backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide education and resources to students, parents, and staff regarding communication disorders
- Engage in regular progress monitoring to ensure students meet their goals
