Speech Language Pathologist in Franklin, IN
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an enriching contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs. In this position, you’ll provide speech-language services focused primarily on evaluations, partnering closely with another SLP who works with nonverbal life skills students. With a caseload of approximately 50–70 students, your work will directly impact student growth and help shape their educational experience. Working onsite, you’ll be an integral part of a committed team dedicated to fostering communication and academic success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with CCC
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Comfort with conducting a variety of speech-language evaluations
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with other SLPs and special education professionals
- Dedication to supporting a diverse student population, including nonverbal and life skills students
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for assigned students
- Collaborate with another onsite SLP to address the needs of nonverbal life skills students
- Develop clear, actionable reports and recommendations based on assessment findings
- Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams and engage in ongoing staff collaboration
