What You’ll Be Doing
As the school-based SLP, you’ll provide speech and language services to students while helping support their academic, social, and functional communication needs. Responsibilities may include:
Providing individual and/or small-group speech-language therapy
Completing evaluations and assessments as needed
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Supporting students in meeting IEP goals
Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams
Communicating with teachers, families, and other professionals involved in student care
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active Idaho SLP license or eligibility for Idaho licensure
ASHA certification
School-based or pediatric experience is preferred, but clinicians transitioning from other settings are encouraged to apply
