Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in New Jersey (or eligible to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Previous experience with pediatric and school-based populations (K–12)
- Expertise in early childhood and elementary speech therapy interventions
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability for working within a school environment
- Comfort with IEP processes, documentation, and collaborating with educational staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain detailed records and comply with district and state documentation requirements
