Elementary Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, New Jersey

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure for the state of New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain)
- Clinical experience in school settings, particularly K–12, strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with families, staff, and administrators
- Passion for fostering positive outcomes with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with individualized needs
- Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student IEP goals
- Document sessions, progress, and recommendations in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
- Adapt strategies and materials to accommodate a wide range of student abilities
