Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in League City, TX

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a supportive school-based environment. This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting while growing professionally. The position is structured for 37.5 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities that span the full breadth of the speech-language pathologist role.
Ideal candidates bring strong pediatric experience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit. Both Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are welcome to apply.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Experience in a school setting with K-12 students preferred
- CCC or CFY applicants accepted
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess communication, language, and speech disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services and consult with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights on student care
- Serve as a resource for school staff regarding speech and language development
