What you’ll bring:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license from the state of Texas
- CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Solid experience or clinical training in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and progress reporting skills
- Adaptability in managing a varied K-12 caseload
- Effective communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver speech and language therapy to students with varied communication disorders
- Develop customized IEPs and therapy plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Monitor student progress, adapt interventions as needed, and maintain regular communication with educational teams and families
- Consult with teachers to support classroom strategies for language development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
